What’s with the name Spazhouse!?

What’s in a name? That which we call a rose,
By any other word would smell as sweet.
— William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, Act II, Scene II

Yes, we went there.

The name Spazhouse? I can write a dissertation on the full aspects of the first part of this compound word I created last century. But, I won’t. I know the deep connotations of the word. I have read the wikipedia entry on the word and I chose to skim over the most positive definitions such as:- excessive energy, otherness and overexcitability. I own this word. It is me, plain and simple. Always has been. It may be in my high school transcripts. I see that this a word of limitless creative energy. A word that makes promises to our clients that we are passionate about their work. We have unlimited energy that allows us to look for answers in unconventional ways. We think outside of the box.

The second part of the name? House is simple. It contains the energy the first word has. It allows for stability, foundation and structure. There is the sense of mystery as well. Walk by any house on your street. You don’t know what goes on beyond the walls and for us that is the allure.

What’s Intuitive Research?

Lets first dissect each of names in Intuitive Research in their respective parts.

Intuitive: adjective
using or based on what one feels to be true even without conscious reasoning; instinctive.

Research: noun
the systematic investigation into and study of materials and sources in order to establish facts and reach new conclusions.

Taken separately, each word conveys very different functions. Being in tune with one’s intuition allows a person to assess situations or environments organically. What feels right? What is wrong? What is missing? People describe a kick in the gut if something is off. It is one’s consciousness to allow one to get a certain feel for a topic. We review a client’s topical questions and get a feel for what is missing or what line of inquiry would enhance the client’s questions.

Research. The term is very broad. How is it done? What is involved in performing research or the exploration of topics? In one’s mind, it would mean sifting through a room crammed full of shelves upon shelves loaded with paper. The frustration in trying to finding that needle in a haystack. We see research as an open field or vista. The act of research, be it, trolling and searching through the internet, books, journals, are but one aspect. Reaching out to other professionals is quite another. We open dialogues to get to the meat of an inquiry or to realize there may be another avenue of exploration. There is no limit to our searchable resources.

We keep an open mind. Combining one’s conscious thought on the topic while performing exploration and investigation, we ask ourselves questions that can enhance our clients’ topical requests. This is where we excel and why we are the Intuitive Research firm.
